Student grants now open!

At Graphene Week, we are dedicated to fostering the next generation of innovators of graphene and 2D material research. Whether you're presenting your work, networking with experts, or learning about the latest advances in the field, a student grant can help you make the most of your Graphene Week experience.

Over the years, Graphene Week has supported over one thousand students, enabling them to thrive and leave their mark on graphene research. In this new phase of the Graphene Flagship, our commitment to supporting students remains one of our priorities. 

Student Grants Guidelines

Secure your spot among the 75 students who will receive a € 300 reduction on delegate fees at Graphene Week 2024. Be sure you meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student submitting an abstract (first or second author)
  • Affiliated with a research institution
  • Proficient in English

Ready to apply?

  • Be familiar with our Guidelines 
  • When submitting your abstract for Graphene Week 2024, make sure to indicate your intention to apply for a student grant
  • In the same form, upload your support letter, serving as student proof
  • The results will be communicated to you via email
  • Deadline to upload student proof is 14 June 2024
  • Reduction on delegate fees apply until 30 August 2024
